Toto is a Grammy Award-winning rock Group that was Made in Los Angeles from David Paich, Steve Lukather, Bobby Kimball, brothers Jeff Porcaro and Steve Porcaro, along with David Hungate. Composed of experienced studio musicians, Toto appeared to come from nowhere. Prior to being signed by a label, because almost all bands do, they didn’t get known on the club circuit. Their reputations at the studio proved enough. As an Example, Hungate Paich and Jeff Porcaro wrote songs for and played Boz Scaggs’ record Silk Degrees.
